A Chat with Fizzy Snood

Meet campaigner Fizzy Snood who will be talking about her 'Daily Different Headgear Challenge'.  Ever since her diagnosis with breast cancer, she's been wearing something different on her head and photographing it.  She'll be talking living, dying and how to get through the tough times.  She'll also be teaching everyone how to make a 'floof' - her very own style of headpiece.

The Grieving Widow by Akimbo Moonchild

The Grieving Widow by Akimbo Moonchild

Akimbo Moonchild will be performing a choreographed mime piece called The Grieving Widow.

Akimbo is a performance artist whose persona derives from a fascination with traditional Japanese and geisha culture. His performances often incorporate lipsync and mime and explore transformation or metamorphosis. Originally an actor from The Poor School of Acting in London he launched his character on the drag scene in Melbourne at the legendary 'Greyhound' in 2006. Since then his performances and characters have been booked at Ministry of Sound, Trade, Bistroteque, Noir Bizaare. He is a resident performer at Club Egg in London where he will be hosting on Saturday, 15 October.
